How these guides differ from the US pages

Two differences. First, request data and prices are labelled by where they come from: the Canadian guides show figures from our own Canadian sites, with prices in Canadian dollars, and the Mexico and UAE guides show network-wide figures with U.S. prices for reference. Second, licensing sections name the authority to ask rather than stating a rule, because passenger-carrier licensing is provincial, state, emirate or municipal and changes without notice.

What does carry across is the method: write the itinerary address by address, fix the one arrival time that cannot move, send the identical brief to every provider, and compare written totals rather than hourly rates. That approach is set out in full in the booking guide and the pricing guide.

What changes when the trip is outside the United States

Three things catch groups out. The first is the airport: in Toronto, Cancún and Dubai the pickup for a pre-booked group vehicle is usually a designated meeting point or commercial level, not the curb outside arrivals, so the quote should say exactly where the driver waits and for how long after landing. The second is payment: ask which currency the total is in, whether taxes are included, and whether a card payment adds a foreign-transaction or processing fee. The third is the vehicle itself. Seat counts, luggage space and air-conditioning standards vary by market, so ask for the seated capacity and bag allowance in writing rather than assuming a US-style party bus.

Language matters too. The Spanish, French and Arabic pages have quote forms in that language, and the request notes which language you prefer, so the provider can reply in it. If your group includes guests arriving on different flights, send every flight number with the request. A single vehicle for staggered arrivals is rarely the best answer abroad; two shorter transfers can cost less than one long wait.
