How We Calculate Inquiry Statistics
Some pages on this site show statistics labelled “inquiry data”. This page explains where those numbers come from, how they are calculated, and what they do not mean. Last reviewed 2026-09-04.
Quick answer
The statistics describe quote requests received by Find My Party Bus and the other party bus and limousine reservation websites operated by the same company between June 2023 and August 2026. They are not bookings, completed trips, prices, or availability. A statistic is published only when at least 25 qualifying requests support it and every published share represents at least 10 requests.
What the numbers are
When someone requests a quote, calls, or chats, the request is recorded with the event date, event type, group size, requested hours, and the website they used. Those fields — and only those fields — are grouped and counted to produce the statistics. The reviewed period runs from June 2023 through August 2026 and includes requests from the whole network of company websites, so the mix reflects where the company markets as well as underlying demand.
How they are calculated
- Requests are grouped into categories using documented rules: event type (for example birthday, wedding, prom), group-size band, requested hours, event weekday, event month, the number of days between the request and the event date, and market area. Free-text entries that cannot be classified are excluded rather than guessed.
- Market-area statistics are attributed by the website a customer used (for example a Grand Rapids-focused site), not by a customer address. Where a city name is ambiguous, no market statistic is published for it.
- A statistic is published only when the group behind it contains at least 25 qualifying requests (30 for a market area), every published share represents at least 10 requests, and percentages are rounded to whole numbers. Exact counts are not published.
- Statistics that describe the whole network are labelled “network-wide”. Broader data is never relabelled as local.
What they are not
- Not bookings, customers served, or trips completed. Many requests never book.
- Not current prices or availability. The quoted-price ranges below describe past quotes, not a price for your trip.
- Not a survey of the general public.
- Not a guarantee that a vehicle, date, or duration will be available for your trip.
Quoted-price ranges
The price boxes on city, state, event, vehicle and guide pages come from written quotes we sent between June 2023 – September 2026 (16,241 quotes with a stated price and length of hire). For each quote, the hourly rate is the quoted total divided by the quoted hours. Spam, trips shorter than 2 or longer than 12 hours, and hourly rates outside $50–$1,000 are excluded.
- The hourly range runs from the 10th percentile (the lower end) to the median (the typical quote). Where those two are nearly the same, the range extends to the 75th percentile.
- The typical total runs from the 25th percentile to the median of quoted totals. 73% of priced quotes were for four hours.
- A city or state gets its own range only when at least 30 priced quotes are attributed to it, using the same website-to-market mapping as the inquiry figures. Other pages show ranges across all markets, and by party size.
- No individual quote, customer, or provider price is published.
- Your price depends on the date, the city, how many hours you need, the bus and your group size. Your written quote is what counts.
Privacy
No names, contact details, addresses, payment information, reservation numbers, messages, transcripts, or individual records were used. Every statistic was produced by an aggregate database query that never selected those fields, and no individual record was exported or shared. Groups too small to protect anonymity are suppressed.
Current scope
As of 2026-09-04 the library contains 692 published statistics across 8 categories (group-size, duration, weekday-weekend, lead-time, seasonality, planning-question, vehicle-preference, event-demand). 141 pages have a specific assignment; every other public page shows labeled network-wide fallbacks when no closer cohort exists. Market-area statistics cover 58 cities. Statistics are refreshed periodically and are re-checked no later than 2027-03-04.
International guides follow the same rules. Montreal, Windsor, Winnipeg, Toronto and Vancouver show figures from our reservation sites for those cities, cross-checked against the city customers entered. Canadian prices come from quotes sent through those sites and are shown in Canadian dollars; Toronto and Vancouver have fewer than 30 priced quotes, so they show the Canada-wide range. The Mexico and UAE guides show network-wide figures and U.S. prices, labelled as reference only.

Your price depends on the date, the city, how many hours you need, the bus and your group size. These come from quotes we have actually sent: the low end up to the middle of the range. Busy Saturdays cost more, quiet weeknights less. Minimum hours, the drive to your pickup, tolls and gratuity all move the final number.
