How booking works

How Booking Works With Find My Party Bus

Direct answer

You send us the trip details by phone, form or chat. One of our reservation agents takes your itinerary and headcount, checks with independent transportation providers near your pickup, and comes back with a quote. That quote is not a reservation. Your trip is held once a provider says yes to your date and vehicle, you sign the transportation contract, and the deposit is paid. Under the current reservation terms a 50% deposit is typical, with the balance due before the trip. The signed contract governs.

Find My Party Bus is a nationwide reservation service. We own no vehicles, employ no drivers and run no local offices. When you get in touch, an agent turns your event into a request that independent providers can price, then handles the back-and-forth on the booking, the contract and the payment. The provider who takes your trip brings the vehicle and the driver.

Knowing who does what at each step clears up most of the confusion people run into with group transportation. Here is the sequence, what we need from you, and the point where the provider's contract takes over.

What to understand before you commit

A quote is not a reservation

Until a provider takes your date and your deposit is paid against a signed contract, nothing is held for you. Busy dates do get taken between the quote and your decision.

Availability is checked trip by trip

A coverage page on this site does not mean a provider is free in that city on your date. Every request gets checked with providers on its own.

The provider's contract runs the trip

Cancellation, rescheduling, vehicle substitution, overtime, conduct, damage and refunds all live in the transportation contract. Read it before you pay. What we describe here is only what providers commonly do.

Deposits and balances follow the current reservation terms

A 50% deposit with the balance before the trip is typical. If the event is within 7 days of booking, expect to pay in full. Check the schedule and the payee named on your contract.

One point of contact keeps the night straight

Pick one person in your group to pass along changes. Providers and drivers work from the agreed itinerary, and five people texting different instructions on the night is how groups lose an hour.

What to have ready before you ask about a date

  1. Your event date, and a backup

A second date opens up far more vehicles on a peak weekend.

  2. Pickup address, stops and final drop

Street addresses beat venue names, which have a way of being ambiguous.

  3. Start time and total hours

Count the time the bus sits waiting at stops. Minimum-hour rules may apply.

  4. Headcount range and anything unusual

Low and high estimates, accessibility needs, luggage, minors on board.

  5. The vehicle class you want

Party bus, limo, Sprinter, shuttle or coach. The comparison guides on this site help you pick.

  6. The questions you want answered in writing

Vehicle photos, legal capacity, alcohol policy, cancellation terms and the overtime rate.

Your price depends on the date, the city, how many hours you need, the bus and your group size. These come from quotes we have actually sent: the low end up to the middle of the range. Busy Saturdays cost more, quiet weeknights less. Minimum hours, the drive to your pickup, tolls and gratuity all move the final number.

What we see in real requests

Taken from quote requests people sent us. These are requests, not completed trips.

  • 61% of every request we get is for a Saturday, and another 20% for a Friday. That is why Saturday availability is the first thing to ask about.

    All markets · June 2023 – August 2026

  • Evening pickups win when groups name a time: 38% want to roll at 5–7 pm and 18% at 8–11 pm, against 30% in the afternoon and 14% in the morning.

    All markets · June 2023 – August 2026

  • Requests peak in April, July, and August, when prom, graduation, and wedding season all land at once. Spring dates are the ones that go first.

How Booking Works With Find My Party Bus Questions

Answers describe common provider practice. Confirm the specifics for your trip in the written quote and contract.

Does Find My Party Bus own the vehicles?

No. We are a nationwide reservation service working with independent transportation providers. The provider who takes your trip owns or operates the vehicle and employs the driver. The vehicle images on this site are representative renderings of classes, not photos of the bus you will get.

Is my quote a reservation?

No. A quote tells you what a vehicle class costs for your itinerary if a provider takes the date. The reservation exists once a provider commits, you sign the transportation contract and the deposit is paid. Ask your agent to tell you when each of those three has happened.

How much is the deposit and when is the balance due?

Under the current reservation terms a 50% deposit is typical, with the balance due before the trip. If your event is within 7 days of booking, expect to pay in full up front. Your signed contract sets out the real schedule, the payment methods accepted and who is being paid.

Who do I call on the day of the trip?

Your final check-in should include the provider's day-of number and, when the provider shares it, the driver's. You can also reach our reservation team at (844) 725-4257 or info@findmypartybus.com. Keep the agreed itinerary on your phone.

Can I change the itinerary after booking?

Usually yes, depending on the provider's availability and the change terms in your contract. Extra stops, more hours or a new date can move the price. Send changes through your one point of contact, as early as you can.

How can I check a provider myself?

Ask for the provider's legal name and USDOT number, then look the carrier up on FMCSA's SAFER Company Snapshot. FMCSA also publishes a bus safety checklist for trip planners. Our state pages link the state regulator wherever an official lookup exists.

Do the numbers in this guide apply to my city?

Use them to read a quote, not as a local price. Rates, minimum hours, deposit sizes and fee structures are set by individual companies and move with the metro, the date and local supply. The guide is here to tell you which questions to ask and which lines to compare. Then get current written totals for your own trip.

Request availability for your trip

Share the date, pickup city, stops, hours, and headcount. A reservation agent will check with independent providers and return a written quote. A quote is not a reservation; under the current reservation terms a 50% deposit is typical once a provider confirms, and the signed contract controls.
