If your night is three hours and the minimum is five, the quote reflects five. Extending the itinerary to use the time is usually better value than leaving hours on the table.

Why is the minimum longer on Saturday night?
Because a Saturday-evening vehicle can usually be booked by someone else for a full evening. Providers set longer minimums on their highest-demand blocks so a short booking does not cost them a full-night rental. Fridays, Sundays, weekdays, and daytimes often come back with shorter minimums.
Can I book a party bus for two hours?
Sometimes, most often on weekday or daytime slots, or as a point-to-point transfer. On a peak Saturday evening most providers will quote their minimum block instead. Ask for the shortest block available on your date and consider filling it rather than fighting it.
Do minimums apply to shuttles and coaches too?

What happens if we finish early?
