Your price depends on the date, the city, how many hours you need, the bus and your group size. These come from quotes we have actually sent: the low end up to the middle of the range. Busy Saturdays cost more, quiet weeknights less. Minimum hours, the drive to your pickup, tolls and gratuity all move the final number.

What we see in real requests

Taken from quote requests people sent us. These are requests, not completed trips.

  • 61% of every request we get is for a Saturday, and another 20% for a Friday. That is why Saturday availability is the first thing to ask about.

    All markets · June 2023 – August 2026

  • Requests peak in April, July, and August, when prom, graduation, and wedding season all land at once. Spring dates are the ones that go first.

    All markets · June 2023 – August 2026

  • 4 hours is by far the most common ask: 71% of the requests that name a length come in at exactly that. Another 18% want 6 hours or more.

Where these numbers come from

How this works, honestly

The parts of group transportation booking that are easy to get wrong, stated plainly.

How the service works

Find My Party Bus is a nationwide reservation service. You send one trip brief by form, phone, or chat; our agents quote it and, when you book, a transportation provider that serves your route supplies the vehicle and driver. We do not own vehicles, garages, or offices in any city, and provider coverage is confirmed per trip.

What a quote is, and is not

A quote is a current price for a specific itinerary, vehicle class, date, and passenger count. It is not a reservation, a credential check, or a promise that a particular vehicle is available. Availability varies by date, vehicle, and provider until a contract is signed.

Deposits and payment

Under the current reservation terms, a 50% deposit is typically due at booking with the balance before the trip, and full payment is typically required when the event is within 7 days of booking. The signed contract controls; confirm the schedule in writing.

What to verify before paying

Confirm the provider name and payment recipient, the exact assigned vehicle and its legal capacity, current operating authority and insurance, the itemized total, and the cancellation terms. Licensing and insurance requirements vary by state and trip type.

Pictures show the size and style, not the exact bus you will get. Ask for photos of the actual vehicle before you pay. Read the terms of service for the full reservation terms.

About the blog

How to use these articles alongside a real quote.

What does the blog cover?

Practical planning guides for group transportation: how quotes are built, how to size a vehicle, what to confirm before paying, event-specific timing, and etiquette. Articles are general guidance, not a substitute for the written quote and contract for your trip.

Are the pricing figures in articles accurate for my trip?

No article can predict your total. Pricing depends on the provider, vehicle class, date, route, billable hours, fees, and local availability. Treat any figure in an article as context and compare itemized written quotes for your itinerary.

Can I suggest a topic?

Yes. Email info@findmypartybus.com or call (844) 725-4257 with the question you could not find an answer to.

Do you have guides for specific cities?

Yes. Location guides are organized by region, state, and city under Locations. Only cities with written local planning content are listed there.

Can I share these articles?

Yes. Link to the article page so readers see the current version.

Blog questions

How do I get a quote?

Send the date, the pickup city, every stop in order, the hours you need and a firm headcount through the quote form, or call (844) 725-4257. We price it against companies that cover your route. A quote isn't a booking and doesn't hold a vehicle for you.

Is Find My Party Bus the company that shows up on the day?

No. It's a reservation service that coordinates independent transportation providers, and it owns no vehicles and employs no drivers. The company covering your route assigns the vehicle, employs the driver, holds the operating authority and insurance, and issues the contract. Ask for its USDOT number and look it up on FMCSA's SAFER site before you pay.

Which cities and states do you cover?

Coverage gets confirmed route by route rather than advertised as a map, because who's available moves with the date and the trip. City and state pages exist where local planning content has been written and checked against public sources. If your city doesn't have one, your request still gets quoted the same way.

Why is there no price list on the site?

Because the same trip prices differently by market, date, vehicle class, how far the bus travels to your first stop, and local supply that weekend. A published rate would mislead more often than it helped. Compare written totals broken out line by line for one identical itinerary instead.

Are the reviews on this site real?

Yes. The reviews shown come from a stored set of customer reviews submitted to us, displayed as they came in. Nothing is generated to fill space. Read them as one person's experience with one company, not as a promise about your own trip or your own market.

Where do the statistics on this site come from?

From aggregate, privacy-reviewed analysis of quote requests sent through the network. They describe inquiries — people asking for information — not bookings, completed trips, prices paid or availability. Every figure shows the group it came from and the period it covers, and the method is written up at /methodology/customer-inquiry-data.

What should I have ready before I call?

The date, pickup and drop-off addresses, every stop in order, the one arrival time that can't move, a firm headcount, luggage and any accessibility needs. Having that in front of you is what makes quotes from different companies genuinely comparable.
