Providers set their own pricing and may offer alternate dates, vehicle classes, or structures such as a transfer rate instead of an hourly minimum. There is no rule that prices come down on request, and no percentage saving is promised here. The most reliable lever is right-sizing the vehicle and choosing a lower-demand day or time if your event allows.

How do I verify a transportation provider?

Ask for the provider's registered legal name and USDOT number and read its record on FMCSA's SAFER Company Snapshot; for intrastate-only carriers, use the state regulator lookup linked from the state page for your pickup location. Ask for a current certificate of insurance covering your event date and the assigned vehicle, and confirm the names on the contract, certificate, and receipt agree.

What is the difference between booking through Find My Party Bus and booking direct?

Find My Party Bus is a nationwide reservation brokerage: our agents check availability with independent providers and coordinate the quote, contract, and deposit; the provider supplies the vehicle and driver under its own contract. Booking direct means dealing with one carrier yourself. In either case, ask who operates the vehicle, whose contract you are signing, and who receives your payment.

The itemized total and which items are estimates; the deposit and balance schedule (under the current reservation terms a 50% deposit is typical, with full payment when the event is within 7 days of booking); cancellation and rescheduling terms; the assigned vehicle and the substitution clause; overtime rate and increment; alcohol, minors, cleanup, and damage terms; and the provider's day-of contact.
