I-89 runs from White River Junction up through Montpelier to Burlington and on toward the Canadian border. I-91 follows the Connecticut River along the eastern edge of the state. US-7 runs north and south along the western side, through Manchester and up to Burlington. US-4 crosses the state past Killington and Woodstock. VT-100 is the scenic route through the middle, linking Stowe, Killington and a string of ski towns. Burlington International Airport is actually in South Burlington, a separate city.
