Cancún is laid out as a long, narrow Hotel Zone on the barrier strip and a separate downtown on the mainland, with the airport to the south and the Riviera Maya running on down the coast. Groups visiting for weddings, bachelor and bachelorette weekends, or spring trips usually move between those pieces rather than within one of them, so the booking is really a series of transfers. Write each stop as a hotel or venue name plus address, mark the one time that cannot move, and give every provider the same list so the totals compare.
Venues and loading points in Cancún
Hotels, not the street, decide most of the logistics here. Many resorts in the Hotel Zone and along the coast control access at their gate and receive outside vehicles only at a designated point, sometimes only with the guest name and the provider registered in advance. Cancún International (CUN) operates several terminals that are not interchangeable, and arriving groups are met in designated ground-transportation areas outside the terminal rather than at the gate. Demand peaks in the winter high season, over spring break in March, and on wedding weekends through most of the year. Hurricane season runs from June to November, and a storm watch can change flight schedules and road conditions with little notice, so ask what happens to the booking if weather disrupts the plan.
